If you decide this is something you would like to do with us, then:

  1. You hand in your application to the recruiting office at 12 Service Battalion. Next it is forwarded to 39 CBG HQ for review and then your file will be referred to the Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre (CFRC) to begin your application processing.
  2. You report back to 12 Service Battalion once it is determined that you have met all of the enrolment requirements.
  3. You will do an in-clearance and will receive personal equipment.
  4. Begin your basic recruit training.

12 Service Battalion is a Combat Service Support Unit. It must be capable of defending itself and performing the vital logistical services required by the Combat Arms Units.

The Battalion first trains its members as soldiers in standard military subjects. Once trained as a soldier you then start learning about one of the many available trades. The trades training allows you to take your place beside fellow reservists or regular force soldiers, providing the vital support services required during peace or war.

That's all there is to it. So if you think you got what it takes, come on down and talk to us.
