The 12 Service Battalion Close Support Company is the operational end of the battalion. Most of the soldiers in 12 Service are assigned to a platoon in Close Support Coy where they can practise their trade as vehicle & weapons maintainers and drivers. The company consists of Company Headquarters, Dispatch and 1 Platoon.

Close Support Company is responsible for collective training of the battalion and individual trades training. Staffing Close Support Company Headquarters are:
